Can anyone help me answer this question?

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis January 2010. I am having a hard time keeping my independence and just bought a 3 month old lab to train. I have been after my insurance company for months to help pay for train my dog but seem to get the run around.
I believe that people need to be educated regarding the benefits of service animals for the disabled. The process of trying to get a service animal through existing organizations is very hard process and a long wait. I can't afford a long waiting process. Please help.
